WordPress is the most powerful blogging platform because it allows you to do any type of modifications with your blog. WordPress plugins are one of the main element of WordPress. Each WP Plugin have its own importance and use. You can find thousands of free and premium plugins in WordPress official plugins directory. In this article i am going to share some Basic WordPress Plugins you must install after WordPress installation.
Must have WordPress Plugins
In the list below you will find most important and essential plugins you must install from the first day of your blog. Some of the plugins you can install directly from WordPress Dashboard or if it is not possible you can use FTP to install the plugin. Some hosting providers wont allow you to isntall plugins from Dashboard. Below you can find a tutorial on how to install plugins from Dashboard or FTP.
So lets get started with Basic Plugins list.
You will start getting Spam comments on your blog from day 1. Akismet is a plugin to stop that spam comments. Once you install Akisemet plugin, You have to get an API key to activate it. Its easy to get an API key. I already wrote a tutorial on it. You can find it below.
Akismet is leading WordPress spam blocking plugin. Its officially developed by WordPress. After installing the WordPress, this is the first plugin i install.

Floating Social Bar:
Social Media Share buttons are most important for social marketing of your blog. This social bar created Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other share icons on each post and these icons flow down when the read scroll the page. This social bar plugin is slim and fast. It works great with any theme and load fast.

WP Super Cache:
There are lot of plugins for compressing cache in the WordPress plugins library but WP Super cache is the most famous plugin among them. It is famous because of its cool features like compressing gZip, homepage cache, preload files for better performance and others. This is the plugin you should have from day 1 on your blog. It can boost your blog. It works great on shared hosting. If your blog is on shared host, this plugin will work great on your blog.

Google XML Sitemaps:
Sitemap is very important tool to submit your blog on Google, Bing and other search engines. You can create sitemap of your blog by installing the Google XML sitemap plugin. WordPress SEO by Yoast:
WordPress SEO by yoast is win to win plugin for Onpage SEO of your blog. It allowes you to configure Meta title, Meta description and Meta keywords of each post of your blog. It is very powerfull plugin as compare to other SEO plugins in the library. It also allows you to create XML Sitemap for your blog, but i recommend you to disable Sitemap in this plugin and use Google XML Sitemaps. You can configure your robots.txt and .htaccess file from your dashboard. It have many more features which i can’t cover in single article. UpdrafPlus WordPress Backup
Whenever we are working online, there is always be a risk to getting hacked. WordPress is based on PHP and MySQL languages and thats why hackers can easily hack your WordPress blog. So, thats why it is a good idea to keep your WordPress Blog backup. This plugin allows you to take your WordPress Backup from your dashboard or you can setup a schedule backup for your WordPress Blog. It can send your Backup to your DropBox Account.
